Dr. Olivia — Release Notes What changed and when
Guide Home Back to Dr. Olivia

October 15, 2026

Dr. Olivia can now build a PowerPoint deck, Word document or PDF for you. Ask in plain language, and a download card appears under her reply when the file is ready.

New features

  • Slides and documents. Ask Dr. Olivia for a deck, handout, study guide or summary, for example "Make me a 10-slide deck on the cardiac cycle for second-year students." She builds a real .pptx, .docx or .pdf file that you can open and edit. Faculty can use it to start lecture slides and handouts; students can use it for review sheets.
    • A card under her reply shows the build in progress, then a Download button.
    • Files follow the Tiber Health brand standard automatically: colors, type and the Powered by TiberHealthAI line.
    • The first version is a starting draft with a simple design. Check every clinical fact before you teach from it.
    • She builds a file only when you ask for one. She may offer to make one, but nothing is built until you say yes.
    • Works in both the avatar conversation and the text chatbot.
    • Every document is in your session summary email with a Download link, and under the reply that built it in your session history.
    • Administrators see each document, with a Download link, in the session's Messages timeline.
    • See Slides & Documents in the guide.
  • Mind maps. Ask Dr. Olivia to map out a topic, for example "Make me a mind map of the cardiac cycle." An interactive map appears under her reply within seconds.
    • Click a branch's dot to expand or collapse it. Click any label to ask her about that concept.
    • Expand opens it full screen; Download PNG saves it as an image.
    • PowerPoint and PDF turn the map into a file you can download.
    • Every map is listed in the Files section of the Session panel. Click one to bring it back up full screen after it scrolls away.
    • Maps are in your session summary email and your session history.
    • She may offer to make a map, but draws one only when you ask.
    • See Mind Maps in the guide.
  • See what Dr. Olivia is working on. A Working on section now opens at the bottom of the Session panel whenever she is busy in the background: building a document, drawing an image, writing a quiz or reading a file you uploaded. Each job shows what it is doing right now (for a deck: reading the PowerPoint guide, writing the build script, rendering previews) and how long it has been running. The section disappears when everything is done. On a phone, the Session tab shows a spinning gear while something is running.

Improvements

  • Hide the Session panel in the text chatbot. On a laptop or desktop, the » button at the top of the Session panel hides it so the chat gets the full width. The tab on the right edge brings it back, and the chatbot remembers your choice in this browser.

Fixes

  • Dead close button in the text chatbot. An × at the top right of the Session panel showed on wide screens and did nothing. It now appears only on phones, where it closes the panel.

Things to know

Building takes about 3 to 7 minutes. Keep talking while it builds. The file is also in your session summary email, and if you end the session before it finishes, you will get a separate Your document is ready email.
