Dr. Olivia now knows which courses you are enrolled in before you ask, so questions that name a course — your grades, what is due, what a module covers — get answered directly instead of after a pause while she works out which course you meant.

She already knows your courses. Ask her about a specific class — "how am I doing in Physio II?", "what's due in Biochem this week?", "what does module 4 of Anatomy cover?" — and she used to have to go and look up your enrolment list first, just to work out which course you were naming, before she could go and fetch the thing you actually asked for. Two trips to Canvas, one after the other, with you waiting through both.
Your course list is now ready before you say anything, so only the second trip is left. The difference is most obvious on the questions that name a course, and it also means she is far less likely to trail off halfway — part of what looked like her not knowing the answer was really her losing her place between those two steps.
What she can see is unchanged. The same enrolments, read with your own Canvas permissions. If you cannot see a course, neither can she.
Things to know
Nothing changes about what she can see in Canvas: still your own enrollments, through your own permissions, exactly what you would see signed in yourself. If you add or drop a course mid-session, start a new session and she will pick it up.
