You can now close a quiz while it is still being written, and it stays closed. Administrators can now see every quiz a student opened in the session history, including quizzes started with the Quiz button, along with how long the student waited and every question and answer.
New features
- (Admin) Quiz activity in the session history. On the Sessions page, each time the quiz opened now appears in the conversation at the moment it happened, including when a student pressed the Quiz button, which previously left no trace. Each note shows how the quiz started, how many questions the student answered, how long they waited for the first question, and when and where they closed it, including when a student gave up while the quiz was still loading.
- (Admin) See the questions a student was given. Click View questions on a quiz note to open the full quiz: every question, its answer choices and why each is right or wrong, the correct answer, the explanation and teaching point, and the answer the student picked.
Enhanced features
- You can close a quiz while it is still being written. In the avatar conversation, the "writing questions" screen now has a close button, so you are never stuck waiting on it.
Bug fixes
- A quiz you close stays closed. Closing a quiz while it was still loading used to bring it back a few seconds later, when the questions arrived. It now stays closed until you ask for another one.
- One slow question no longer ends your quiz. If a single question took too long to write, the quiz you were working through could be replaced by an error screen partway through. The slow question is now skipped and the rest of your quiz carries on.
- A quiz that can't be written tells you so. If the connection dropped while a quiz was being written, the quiz could keep showing "writing questions" indefinitely. It now tells you the quiz couldn't be finished and offers to try again. If you were already partway through, you keep the questions you have and can see your results.
