Dr. Olivia — Release Notes What changed and when
Guide Home Back to Dr. Olivia

Institutions can now pull their TiberHealthAI usage data — who used the tutor, when, for how long, and the conversations themselves — straight into their own reporting systems through a secure, read-only API.

New features

  • Usage API (administrators). A secure, read-only web API gives an institution's reporting and analytics teams direct access to Virtual Tutor usage:

    • Users: who has used the tutor, by partner and campus.
    • Sessions: when each session happened, how long it lasted, and how many questions were asked.
    • Transcripts: each question a student asked and Dr. Olivia's answer.
    • Time stats: total and average study time per student, with a day-by-day breakdown.

Access uses a token that is issued for a set period (30 days by default, up to a year) and can be limited to just the data a team needs. It works over HTTPS only and can read but never change anything. Every request is recorded, including attempts that were refused. Repeated failed attempts from one address are blocked, and each token has a request limit, so one caller cannot crowd out the others.

  • AI assistant connector (administrators). The same usage data is available to an institution's own AI assistant (Claude, Copilot, Cursor and others) through a standard MCP connector. A reporting team can ask in plain language, for example "How much did students study last week, by campus?", and the assistant looks up the answer itself.

    • Administrators issue a dedicated assistant token, which comes with a single credential to paste into the assistant's settings.
    • The assistant can only read, never change anything, and every lookup it makes is recorded.
  • API Tokens page (System Admins). A new admin page issues and revokes Usage API tokens and shows every recent API call, with a filter for refused attempts.

Things to know

For administrators only. Nothing changes for students or faculty using Dr. Olivia. API access is issued by Tiber Health System Admins; contact your Tiber Health representative to request a token for your institution.
