A new Your files page lists every document, image and mind map Dr. Olivia has made for you, and each session now keeps what it made one click away. The text chat with Dr. Olivia also recovers on its own when your connection drops, tells you while it is reconnecting, and no longer loses a document that finished during the drop. Dr. Olivia's speaking voice now stays calm and professional when she tells you an answer is right.
New features
- Your files. Open your files from the dashboard to see every PowerPoint, Word document, PDF, image and mind map Dr. Olivia has made for you, grouped by type and then by session, most recent first. Click a document to download it, an image to open it, or a mind map to see it full screen. The dashboard's totals now include how many files have been made for you.
- Made this session. During a session, the documents and images Dr. Olivia makes are now listed in the Files section of the Session panel, under your mind maps, so a file that has scrolled out of the conversation is still one click away.
Bug fixes
- Reconnecting in the text chat. If your connection dropped for more than about half a minute (closing a laptop lid, or switching wifi), the text chat stopped receiving updates for the rest of the session and gave no sign of it. It now keeps trying until it is back. A notice above the conversation says when the connection is lost and when it returns, with a button to try again straight away.
- Documents that finish during a dropped connection. A PowerPoint, Word document or PDF that finished building while your connection was down could stay on "Building…" and then say it took too long to arrive, even though the file had been made. When the connection returns, the card now changes to a download link.
- Dr. Olivia's tone of voice. When she agreed with you or praised an answer, for example "Yes, exactly," her voice could suddenly become loud and overexcited, which did not sound professional. She now keeps a calm, steady voice throughout the conversation, including her greeting at the start of a session.
- Stray question marks in the text chat. Some screens showed a question mark where Dr. Olivia had written a long dash. Her replies no longer use long dashes. Documents, spreadsheets and slide decks she builds for you are unchanged.
